Fr. Kevin E. Marks

Father Kevin Marks, raised in Farrell, Pennsylvania, is a vocation from St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Following high school graduation, he entered Saints Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to pursue an eight year academic and spiritual program to the holy priesthood.

On May 23, 2004, Father Kevin was ordained to the priesthood by Metropolitan Archbishop Basil M. Schott at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Munhall, Pennsylvania. He celebrated his first Divine Liturgy at his home parish on June 6, 2004.

Following his ordination, his first assignment was Chaplain to the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and Pastor of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Morgantown, West Virginia. He served this assignment for two years until being transferred to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Ambridge, Pennsylvania and St. George's Church in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.
